Badgeworth Court Care Home in Cheltenham

Badgeworth Court is a residential care home near Cheltenham. Set outside the hectic city environment, between Cheltenham and Gloucester, our care home provides residents with the calm and serenity they deserve. We received an 'Outstanding' rating in our last CQC inspection and we pride ourselves on delivering person-centred nursing care across the whole home, along with short-term respite care. This has been demonstrated time and again in testimonials & feedback from our families, as well through multiple nominations for various internal awards and national competitions over the years.

Dementia Care

The home's specialist Memory Lane Community utilises a careful blend of skills and techniques developed by leading experts in the field of dementia care, incorporating person-centred design in its use of colour and cues to help individuals navigate through the home, whilst thoughtful interior design features, such us adapted crockery and tableware assists with reminiscence. Communities are broken up into separate units with a family feel so people can feel safe and comfortable. Care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood.

In 2015, we celebrated our 20th birthday and, as part of the festivities, we underwent an extensive refurbishment programme, which included a brand-new hair salon, an extension to our dedicated Memory Lane community, as well as café facilities for all visitors, and a beautiful and comfortable lodge. So, why not take a look at our virtual tour to see our refurbishment?
