Beeston View Care Home in Cheshire
Beeston View is a modern, purpose-built care home set in landscaped gardens. You'll find us at the edge of Tarporley Village and on the outskirts of the city of Chester.
Dementia Care
Beeston View has a dedicated Memory Lane Community that provides a safe, homely environment for people living with dementia, which has been designed following these guidelines ensuring the care we provide supports residents’ freedom of choice. We aim to maintain their life-skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them to maintain and develop their independence while they are living with us.
Staff undertake specialist dementia care training developed by our team of Dementia Care Specialists and academic partners, the Centre for Dementia Research at Leeds Beckett University. Together they ensure our training programmes are informed by the very latest thinking. We ensure that the people we support feel comfortable and safe in their surrounding environment, helping ensure they live life with dementia to the full.
Choosing a care home for a loved one or friend who may be experiencing dementia can be difficult and we have created a guide to showcase how we ‘Enrich the lives of people living with dementia’ in our care home.
Care is based on personalised care planning, which begins pre-admission. Many residents are able to contribute to their care plan and its review but family involvement is also encouraged.
Activities include outside agencies and individuals coming into the home such as, entertainers, singers and Pets As Therapy dog-handlers. We also welcome groups from church representatives and a monthly service is held in Beeston View to which all residents are welcome.
Group activities include walks in the garden, tea parties, film shows, musical activities, exercise and games. Individual activities include crafts, arts, painting, jigsaws and videos.
Beeston View is the kind of home that it’s best to see for yourself. We would welcome you to call in and meet with our General Manager and team or to call us for further information.

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

Kirsty Jones
Hi, my name is Kirsty, and I am the General Manager here at Iddenshall Hall & Beeston View. Welcome to our website!
I have been working in the care sector since 2008, when I started as a Community Care Co-ordinator, and have predominantly worked with the elderly ever since. In 2017, I moved over to work for Barchester Healthcare at Crabwall Hall in Chester as a Deputy Manager. After a couple of months, I stepped up to Acting General Manager and then stayed there as General Manager for 7 years, before moving over to Iddenshall & Beeston in September 2023 as a natural transition to the next stage of my management experience.
Going from a residential home to a dual-registered home has been a welcome challenge which I enjoy, and gives me the chance to be the best support to our team and residents. I am proud and privileged to have had the opportunity to care for the older generation, and I hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
Outside of work, I like spending quality time with my partner, son, and our dog Alby. I also enjoy swimming, and exercising, and keeping active.
I look forward to welcoming you to our home!
