We are holding an Open Day on Saturday 8th February. Please come along to meet the team and find out more about life in our home.

Collingtree Park Care Home in Northampton

Collingtree Park is a purpose-built residential care home, specifically designed to provide excellent residential care to older people, including individuals living with dementia. Alongside this, we offer respite services to provide relief for carers or a break from day-to-day life. The home is conveniently located close to junction 15 off the M1, and only a few miles away from all the amenities Northampton has to offer. We welcome visitors at any time and are happy to offer helpful advice if we can, so please feel free to call us or to drop in.

Our motivated team focus on the individual needs of residents with personal care plans for each person in the home. Family and friends are welcome anytime to our home and to our monthly family meetings, where all ideas and suggestions are enthusiastically received.

The home is built on two levels, with ample parking to the front and landscaped gardens to the rear, accessible to residents for our summer activities. Major refurbishments at the home have seen a bright new reception area, perfect for socialising or taking part in one of our many daily activities. Our beautiful dining room is a wonderful place to enjoy a home-made lunch and our bedrooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and all furnished with en-suite facilities.

Dementia Care

Collingtree Park also has a dedicated Memory Lane Community that provides a safe, homely environment for people living with dementia, which has been designed following these guidelines ensuring the care we provide supports residents’ freedom of choice. We aim to maintain their life-skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them to maintain and develop their independence while they are living with us.

Staff undertake specialist dementia care training developed by our team of Dementia Care Specialists and academic partners, the Centre for Dementia Research at Leeds Beckett University. Together they ensure our training programmes are informed by the very latest thinking. We ensure that the people we support feel comfortable and safe in their surrounding environment, helping ensure they live life with dementia to the full.

Choosing a care home for a loved one or friend who may be experiencing dementia can be difficult and we have created a guide to showcase how we ‘Enrich the lives of people living with dementia’ in our care home.

Paying to live in a care home booklet

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

General Manager

Hi, my name is Roz and I am the General Manager here at Collingtree Park Care Home. Welcome to our website!

I am a registered nurse, qualifying from Sheffield University in 2013. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including surgical care, Intensive Care Units and A&E. The last 3 years I have spent in care home management where I developed my skills as a leader in the social care sector. I joined Barchester earlier this year as a Clinical Development Nurse, working regionally with nursing and residential teams coaching and teaching departments to always achieve the best care for our residents.

I am very passionate about providing a quality experience for our residents and their families. I pride myself on working to a high level of clinical expertise and helping my team to deliver the best care. We promote person-centred care, ensuring our residents are happy and fulfilled during their time with us.

I am committed to delivering an excellent service, which residents will be proud to call home.
