Florence Court Care Home in Fareham
Florence Court Care Home in Fareham provides excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. Alongside long-term care, we also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. Our experienced and dedicated team are ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focuses on the individual needs of each resident.
The home features a wide range of facilities including a Sky Terrace for alfresco dining, a dedicated cinema room and sociable café. As with all Barchester homes, there is a full and varied schedule of virtual and live activities each and every day which residents are welcome to get involved in as much or as little as they wish. For those living with dementia, there is a dedicated area called Memory Lane, which offers high quality care and thoughtful touches to help make life easier. Features, such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low risk walkways and activity kitchens enable resident’s to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures.
Care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood. Meals are freshly prepared on-site by trained chefs, who offer a range of nutritious and tasty food, catering for special dietary requirements when needed.
Our postcode is new; if you’re travelling using a Sat Nav, we recommend using our neighbour’s postcode: PO15 5EW. Florence Court is located on a one-way road, so if you are coming via the Segensworth roundabout, you’ll need to take the Barnes Wallis Road exit. You can download our map here

Sarah Lewis
Hello, My name is Sarah and I am the General Manager here at Florence Court Care Home.
I have worked in care for over 20 years, with the last 2 and a half of those being the deputy manager here in Florence Court.
I am extremely proud of the outstanding and fulfilling care that we deliver on a daily basis, enriching the lives of our residents is extremely important and being able to do it in this amazing environment is wonderful.
I was really excited to progress in my career and I have been extremely well supported by Barchester to do this. It brings me great joy to be the manager of such a beautiful home, with an extremely hard-working team. Supporting our residents in this luxury setting is a privilege.
My door is always open and I look forward to continuing to support our residents, families and staff here at Florence Court. I am also excited to welcome new families and residents to our beautiful home.
My home life can get very busy with 4 dogs, a cat and 2 children but I love every minute of it and wouldn't change it for the world.
