Barchester's newest care home in West Parley near Bournemouth is now open! The home has been purpose-built and specifically designed to deliver first class quality residential and dementia care for older people in a homely, yet secure environment.
Our dedicated Memory Lane community, for residents living with dementia, enjoys a fully stocked activities room with dementia friendly games, puzzles and our ‘Magic Table’, an award-winning, innovative interactive light projector that is proven to help staff promote stimulation through specialised games. Additionally, our interior space, colours and bedrooms are all designed to help with difficulties associated with dementia.
Care plans are based on the needs of our residents; we treat each person as an individual. Our dedicated staff members provide high quality residential care for older people who would benefit from additional care and support in a warm and friendly environment. Our team attend to residents’ individual needs with professionalism and a caring attitude.
Our ground floor rooms all have access to landscaped gardens and we have a variety of unique spaces to make life at Parley Place enjoyable, including a hair salon, spa bathrooms, a cinema and a bar lounge area with a large external terrace, plus much more.

The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Hello. My name is Gina and I am the General Manager here at Parley Place. Welcome to our website.
Originally from South Africa where I was a nurse for many years, I have been living in Dorset for the past 20 years. Since arriving in the UK I have had the privilege in supporting nursing and residential homes, leading outstanding teams to ensure safe, excellent and person centred care is delivered to our customers.
My passion and vision for Parley Place is that all who live and work in our home will feel valued, loved and included. That we will build good, strong relationships together ensuring an ethos of trust, openness, honesty and fulfilled lives.
