Queens Court Care Home in Wimbledon
Queens Court is based in the heart of Wimbledon SW19 with fantastic transport links and provides 24-hour nursing care for 41 residents, including care for residents living with dementia. Residents can enjoy the easily accessible patio gardens and a regular gardening club, where they tend and create works of art in their pots and hanging baskets that are then displayed around the home.
Built in 1995, we have retained the Edwardian front of house in keeping with the surrounding buildings. We are situated in a residential area yet we are close to the shopping centre and town centre.
Nursing Care
24-hour nursing care is delivered by qualified and skilled staff, with a nurse always on duty. Our staff know the residents very well and provide exceptional personalised care for those with nursing needs or requirements based on dementia; we are also accredited with ‘commended’ status for Gold Standard Framework for End of Life Care.
Our Head Chef and his team ensure that the regular changing restaurant and room service menu encourages enjoyable mealtimes. They use the best seasonal produce, natural flavours and required textures for special diets to provide balanced nutrition – which is really important to us!
This beautifully maintained home is designed and furnished to create a feeling of relaxation and homeliness. The comfortable spaces include our bedrooms, which have contemporary interiors and are decorated to a high standard. Each room has en-suite facilities and LCD TVs, with telephones available if required. The rooms are bathed in natural light and can be personalized with your own possessions and furniture. Queens Court also features a range of extra services, such as physiotherapy, a hair salon, a visiting beautician and Wi -Fi access.

Types of care
We provide person-centred nursing care services for older people in need of support or for individuals living with dementia, as well as offering accommodation and support for those looking for assisted living. It is important to us that our care services are delivered in a way that celebrates each person’s individuality and helps them to maintain as much independence as possible, so we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each resident. This could include personal activities with staff members, regular visits from a chiropodist or simply adhering to special dietary requirements. Our current rating of 9.8 on carehome.co.uk shows just how pleased residents and their relatives are with our care services.

Our Team
The dedicated and experienced team are passionate about providing quality care to each individual living at the home.

Shaaron Caratella
Hi, my name is Shaaron and I am the General Manager here at Queens Court. Welcome to our website!
I joined Barchester Healthcare in 1998. Prior to that, I worked in the NHS, where I developed my passion: the care of older people. After I qualified as an RGN, I continued to develop my career by studying for my BSc in Nursing Studies, my Diploma in Orthopaedics and my MSc in Health Sciences.
The team and I are committed to ensuring that the residents have a good quality of life. This is working with evidence-based practices on projects like nutrition, non-pharmaceutical interventions, life story work, and we advocate the Whole Home Approach Model.
We are proud to have consistently achieved good reports and reviews from those who know us. This is a very happy home and you are very welcome to visit us.
