Wilsmere House Care Home in Harrow
Wilsmere House is a grade 2 listed residential home. It is located in a quiet and leafy area of Harrow Weald but just minutes away from local amenities. From the minute you enter Wilsmere House you will feel the warmth radiating from the caring and homely atmosphere we provide. Our priority is the individual’s well-being and providing the very best and most appropriate care. We emphasise the traditional values of compassion, care and dignity whilst celebrating life to the full.
Dementia Care
We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
Our nursing home prides itself on its ability to provide first class nursing care for residents with a wide variety of different symptoms, backgrounds and challenges.
Our highly skilled multi-disciplinary team receive training in a range of relevant areas including but not limited to the management of different neurological conditions and ventilator care.
Our person-centered team are experienced in responding to the challenges that dementia presents, at whichever stage of the journey.
The individuals we support also have access to in-house physiotherapy from our skilled team. In addition, we can arrange access to speech and language specialists, dental, optical, chiropody and complementary services.
We encourage family and friends to join in with our thriving activity schedule when they visit.
As well as several lounges and a conservatory, our home has a large gym, a low level kitchen for rehabilitation, a hairdressers and beautiful gardens of which we are very proud. It means Wilsmere House really is a home from home.
We receive referrals from a wide variety of sources and are happy to help with enquiries.

Types of care
At Wilsmere House, we provide person-centred care to young and old residents diagnosed with different conditions, including those with high dependency needs. We make sure a good assessment is carried out, and prior to moving in the home, rooms are personalised with the support of the activities, nursing and maintenance team. We involve the residents and families in all aspects of care to make sure that services are delivered to the highest possible standard at Wilsmere House.

Hi, my name is Lili and I am the General Manager here at Wilsmere House. Welcome to our website!
I first joined Barchester as a carer in 2004. I have been in various managerial positions since 2010, and have been a General Manager at Wilsmere from June 2015.
As a General Manager, my main duty is to guarantee that all residents receive the best care possible. I ensure that resident’s choices are respected and all of their needs met.
I work closely with my highly trained and talented team in order to make sure all residents is happy, and that they continue to live life on their terms, in the best possible environment. We maintain our high standards, which have been reflected in our recent CQC report and ratings.
