Broadway Halls Care Home in Dudley
Broadway Halls Care Home is an award-winning care home set in the historic West Midlands town of Dudley, with 83 en-suite bedrooms divided between residential, nursing and dementia communities.
Residential Care and Nursing Care
The home offers high quality nursing care and residential care for elderly people and people living with dementia. We offer pre-bookable respite up to a year in advance. A varied menu of tasty and nutritious cuisine is prepared on-site by a team of skilled chefs, and special dietary requirements are always catered for. Residents can enjoy their meals in our elegant dining rooms, which are set to a restaurant standard.
Our dedicated activities team plan a varied social programme to keep all residents engaged and stimulated through regular events and excursions. Participation is encouraged, but entirely optional, and staff do their best to ensure all residents have the means to entertain themselves in private. Relatives and residents are also part of the planning process to ensure everyone's needs and desires are met
Dementia Care
Broadway Halls has a dedicated Memory Lane Community that provides a safe, homely environment for people living with dementia, which has been designed following these guidelines ensuring the care we provide supports residents’ freedom of choice. We aim to maintain their life-skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them to maintain and develop their independence while they are living with us.
Staff undertake specialist dementia care training developed by our team of Dementia Care Specialists and academic partners, the Centre for Dementia Research at Leeds Beckett University. Together they ensure our training programmes are informed by the very latest thinking. We ensure that the people we support feel comfortable and safe in their surrounding environment, helping ensure they live life with dementia to the full.
Choosing a care home for a loved one or friend who may be experiencing dementia can be difficult and we have created a guide to showcase how we ‘Enrich the lives of people living with dementia’ in our care home.

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

Danica Chugh
Hi, I’m Danica and I am the General Manager here at Broadway Halls Care Home. Welcome to our website!
Thank you for taking the time to look further into what Broadway Halls has to offer to you or your loved one. Here is an opportunity to find out more about our amazing staff team, who all play a vital role in day to day life in our home.
I also want to share a little bit about me. I joined Broadway Halls in February 2023, but I have been a Care Home Manager since 2015, and my career in the health and care sector started in 2007. I started as a Care Assistant and soon progressed to Senior Carer and then Care Co-Ordinator, after which I diversified into the role of Senior Administrator. I have well rounded experience, which allows me to have insight into many areas of the home.
I am committed to fostering a warm and nurturing environment where every individual feels valued and respected and I am passionate and dedicated to enhancing the lives of Residents through personalised support and compassionate care.
I am experienced in coordinating care plans, managing staff and ensuring regulatory compliance, which in turn provide a safe and well managed home, and I am firm believer in the power of empathy and kindness to make a difference in people's lives.
Outside of work I am kept busy with my family of 4, including 2 young children. I likes spending time with my family and my personal hobbies are swimming and tennis.
