Alison Moseley-Shaw

General Manager

Welcome to Hollyfields Nursing Home. My name is Alison and I am the General Manager here. Now, let me share a bit about myself.

My journey in Healthcare began in 2004 then I graduated with a BSC (Hons) qualification.  I started my career on a NHS ward, where I gained invaluable experience and honed my skills in patient care.  Over time, I transitioned my skills into medical education, expanding my knowledge and expertise.

In 2016, I decided to explore new opportunities in private healthcare and accepted a role as Deputy Ward Manager.  This experience allowed me to further develop my leadership abilities while continuing to prioritise the well-being of patients.

In 2022, I made the transition into a nursing home, taking on the role of Deputy Manager. Here, my passion for the well-being of both residents and staff truly flourished.  It was a privilege to contribute to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for all.

In 2023, I was honoured to be promoted to General Manager, a role that allows me to lead with compassion and dedication.  My commitment to the well-being of residents and staff remains the forefront of everything I do, driving me to continually strive for excellence in care provision.

Outside of work, I'm a proud mum to four wonderful grown up children and step-mum to two younger children.  Family means everything to me and I cherish the time we spend together.   Being a Nanna to two wonderful grandsons brings me immense joy, and I treasure every moment with them.

In my free time, I love nothing more than going on holidays with my husband.  Whether it’s exploring new destinations or returning to our favourite spots, I find immense happiness in discovering new cultures, cuisines and experience.  Travelling allows me to unwind, recharge, and create lifelong memories.

Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to welcoming you to the Hollyfields community.
