Situated in beautifully maintained grounds in the outskirts of Upminster, Derham House has many natural advantages: plenty of local amenities yet within easy reach of London, Lakeside Shopping Centre and the beaches at Southend on Sea. At Derham House, we provide a range of accommodation and services for older people in need of support, from respite care to 24-hour nursing care and residential care.
Dementia Care
We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.

My vision is to create a 'home from home' environment, where residents are actively involved in organising events, making decisions, and planning their care.
