Harper Fields Care Home in Coventry
Harper Fields Care Home is a purpose-built care home in Balsall Common near Coventry and offers a variety of options for people looking for care. Our premium facilities and highly trained staff ensure that each and every individual is given superior attention.
Nursing Care and Residential Care
The home is specifically designed to provide high quality 24-hour residential and nursing care, as well as specialist care for those living with dementia. We also offer respite care, which can now be pre-booked up to a year in advance.
Our residential care provides a warm, welcoming and homely environment, with delicious meals and daily activities that include a choice of therapeutic approaches. Together, the lively social calendar, community & family involvement and a home designed to support independence, helps stimulate residents' minds and encourages well-being.
Dementia Care
Harper Fields has a dedicated Memory Lane Community that provides a safe, homely environment for people living with dementia, which has been designed following these guidelines ensuring the care we provide supports residents’ freedom of choice. We aim to maintain their life-skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them to maintain and develop their independence while they are living with us. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
Staff undertake specialist dementia care training developed by our team of Dementia Care Specialists and academic partners, the Centre for Dementia Research at Leeds Beckett University. Together they ensure our training programmes are informed by the very latest thinking. We ensure that the people we support feel comfortable and safe in their surrounding environment, helping ensure they live life with dementia to the full.
Choosing a care home for a loved one or friend who may be experiencing dementia can be difficult and we have created a guide to showcase how we ‘Enrich the lives of people living with dementia’ in our care home.
It would be a pleasure to show you around Harper Fields or to take a call to see if we can support your needs.

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

Hayley Wilkinson
Hello, my name is Hayley!
I qualified as an RGN in 2006, I have spent over 14 years working in care home settings, and have 18 years experience and I have held numerous roles which include Nurse, Clinical lead, deputy manager and General manager.
I joined Barchester in February 2020 and knew right away it was a company that really live up to the values and knew it was a place I wanted to become a General manager.
I have a desire to provide high quality care, which I have witnessed with Barchester. I am very proud to join such a happy, friendly and caring team who make this a wonderful home for our residents.
