The home is specifically designed to provide high quality residential care and nursing care for elderly people who need care and support. We also offer respite care and short breaks, which can now be pre-booked up to a year in advance. A varied menu of tasty and nutritious cuisine is prepared on-site by a team of skilled chefs, and special dietary requirements are always catered for. Our dedicated activities team plan a varied social programme to keep all residents engaged and stimulated through regular events and excursions. Participation is encouraged, but entirely optional, and staff do their best to ensure all residents have the means to entertain themselves in private. Relatives and residents are also part of the planning process to ensure everyone's needs and desires are met
Its interior design, furnishing and settings were selected specifically to enable us to provide the very best elderly care, from the sofas and chairs in the living rooms through to the spacious en-suite bedrooms and secluded gardens. The home also features a range of services and facilities, including a coffee area, hair salon and a beautifully-maintained garden. Throughout the home, there are a range of communal and dining facilities to suit people who enjoy socialising, as well as those who prefer quieter activities.
Dementia Care
Latimer Court has a dedicated Memory Lane Community that provides a safe, homely environment for people living with dementia, which has been designed following these guidelines ensuring the care we provide supports residents’ freedom of choice. We aim to maintain their life-skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them to maintain and develop their independence while they are living with us.
Staff undertake specialist dementia care training developed by our team of Dementia Care Specialists and academic partners, the Centre for Dementia Research at Leeds Beckett University. Together they ensure our training programmes are informed by the very latest thinking. We ensure that the people we support feel comfortable and safe in their surrounding environment, helping ensure they live life with dementia to the full.
Choosing a care home for a loved one or friend who may be experiencing dementia can be difficult and we have created a guide to showcase how we ‘Enrich the lives of people living with dementia’ in our care home.
Life skills kitchens enable residents to get involved in everyday domestic activities, such as baking, setting tables and washing up. With support from our skilled and experienced team, this helps people feel settled and useful.
We are always happy to answer questions and discuss how we can best meet your care needs, so please feel free to call us or pop in!

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.
