Hundens Park Care Home in Eastbourne, Darlington
Hundens Park Care Home provides 24-hour nursing care for older people, people with sensory impairments and people with physical disabilities. We provide end of life care and respite care, including post-operative respite care. The nursing home also houses the Darnton Suite, which supports and cares for people living with dementia and those who may display distress reactions.
Personalised care plans are tailored to each resident and regularly reviewed to accommodate changing needs, with the individual and family involved wherever possible. Care plans ensure that a consistent level of care is provided and needs are met, as well as working to encourage independence, support life skills and enable freedom of choice.
Our qualified and dedicated team includes 24-hour nursing cover, managers and care staff specially trained in dementia care, and activities coordinators. Our team work in conjunction with local GPs, community health services and other medical support to cater to the needs of each person.
We’re situated on Hundens Lane on the site of a former bowling green and park in Darlington. We welcome visitors at any time, so why not call in for a cup of tea and find out more about our care and what we can offer?

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

Types of care
We provide person-centred nursing care services for older people in need of support or for individuals living with a complex dementia. It is important to us that our care services are delivered in a way that celebrates each person’s individuality and helps them to maintain as much independence as possible, so we tailor our services to meet the unique individual needs of each person. This could include personal one-to-one time with staff members when needed, regular visits from a chiropodist or just adhering to special dietary requirements. Our current high rating on carehome.co.uk shows just how pleased residents and loved ones are with our care services.
