Kingfisher Lodge Care Home in Saltford, Bath
Kingfisher Lodge is ideally situated in the picturesque village of Saltford just outside of the historic city of Bath and close to Bristol. The home boasts beautiful views across the Avon Valley and it is a short walk to the Saltford Marina.
We provide 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for those with Dementia in our Memory Lane Community. Our team of qualified and dedicated staff ensure that all residents receive professional, respectful and personalised care.
Dementia Care
We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
A sense of belonging is crucial to a persons well-being, so regardless of the complexity of their needs we strive to ensure residents value being part of the Kingfisher Lodge community and we value them. Kingfisher Lodge has been designed with this in mind, which is why you will get the feel of home-from-home when you walk around.
At Kingfisher Lodge we believe freedom of choice is paramount to everyone that stays with us. That's why, as well as the excellent locally sourced daily menu, residents have all day access to the coffee lounge which offers daily baked treats and freshly brewed coffees and teas, choice of daily papers. Along with the beautiful garden overlooking the scenic Kelston Round Top our lounges make ideal spaces to catch up with a loved one.

Claudia Costinean
Hello! I'm Claudia, the General Manager at Kingfisher Lodge.
My journey in caregiving began over a decade ago. For ten years, I dedicated myself as a carer, then earned my nursing qualification in 2018. Growing up without grandparents, I've always felt a deep-seated passion for ensuring the elderly and those in need receive the utmost care and support.
At Kingfisher Lodge, I maintain a close-knit relationship with both the nursing and care staff. This collaboration is pivotal in our commitment to delivering the exceptional care our residents deserve.
Whenever you're in our home, chances are you'll spot me. Please don't hesitate to say "Hello!"
