Milford House Care Home in Salisbury

Milford House Care Home offers high quality 24-hour nursing care and personal support for older people who are no longer able to manage at home. Alongside this, we now offer respite care and short breaks for when you or a relative are in need of a break from your usual routine. Our skilled and experienced staff are committed to providing personalised care in a friendly and homely environment.

Whilst care is of paramount importance, we strive to provide the highest standard of services in all areas of life for residents – from catering to housekeeping. We offer a wide range of activities, which are varied to ensure they appeal to the diverse needs, likes and dislikes of those we support.

Originally built as a private home for the Earl of Ilchester, Milford House has been refurbished and extended, providing an attractive mix of old architectural charm and purpose-built accommodation. Located in the historic cathedral city of Salisbury, the home has plenty of local amenities, but is within easy reach of beautiful countryside.

We welcome visitors at any time and are always happy to discuss how we can best meet your needs, so why not drop in or give us a call?

Types of care

Milford House is a nursing home that can cater to residents' general nursing needs, focusing on person-centred care that reflects individual requirements and wishes, whilst encouraging those we support to be as independent as possible. In addition to our own team, we draw on support from a range of other professionals and services, such as chiropodists, dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, opticians, audiologists and anyone else we feel would be of benefit to the people we care for. Ensuring that residents feel safe and supported is at the heart of everything we do and, as our recent CQC report highlighted, Milford House is a "marvelous place."

Agnieszka Musial

General Manager

Hello. My name is Agnieszka Musial and I am the General Manager here
at Milford House.

Welcome to our website. My aim is to ensure residents, staff, families
and visitors all feel they are welcome in our caring environment and
feel supported by every member of our team.

I have been working in the Health and Social Care Sector for the past
15 years, with my passion lying in dedicated and personalised care for
the elderly. This is what I believe makes Milford House different to
every other nursing home. Every day, my team and I strive to make a
difference in our resident's lives and we are proud of what we are able to achieve for our residents and their loved ones.

My door is always open and I look forward to sharing a cup of tea and
some of our lovely homemade cake with you!
