Henford House Care Home in Warminster
Henford House provides 24-hour nursing and residential care for older people. We also offer respite care and short breaks so that, whether you care for a relative or are in need of care yourself, you can take a break from your usual routine. Residents and their loved ones tell us that Henford House really is a special place, with staff who put the needs of those they support before everything else.
Many of the staff here at Henford House have been with us for a long time, which helps to create a warm family feeling in the home. Our person-centred approach to care involves discussing and reviewing each individual’s needs with staff on a regular basis. The home also has a full-time activities team, who work to help residents live a full and active life. Not only are the staff one of the home’s biggest assets, but the period building, fabulous gardens and its rural location all add up to make Henford House a care home with a heart.
We know and understand that the decision to move into a care home, or having to find the right home for a friend or loved one is a hard and difficult one to make. We are here to help make this journey as simple and straightforward as possible. So, why not begin by picking up the phone to discuss how we can help you make the right decision?
We welcome visitors at any time – there’s no need to make an appointment. We look forward to welcoming you into our home and having a chat over a cup of coffee and a delicious piece of homemade cake.

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

Types of care
The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it is important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Our services are devised with individualised treatment in mind for each person, so getting to know everyone and understanding their needs is imperative to delivering bespoke, person-centred care.

Patricia Alton
Hello! My name is Trish and I am the General Manager here at Henford House.
My goal is to ensure that all of our residents and their families and visitors feel comfortable and can enjoy being in this beautiful and welcoming environment; and that the staff feel fully supported to perform at their very best.
I began my career as a Speech and Language Therapist, working with adults in hospitals, care homes and in the community. Having moved into leadership and management has provided me the opportunity to drive high standards of care and ensure that people are valued as individuals. I am committed to continuing with these goals in line with the high standards and superior lifestyle delivered throughout Barchester.
The highlight of my work is spending time with the people we support, and I am always available to have a chat about our home, services, staff, and most importantly, our residents.
