Silverbirch House is Barchester's newest premium care home in Guildford.
Silverbirch House has been specifically designed to provide high-quality elderly care, including residential care, as well as care and support for individuals living with dementia.
As a Barchester home, our experienced and compassionate staff work hard to ensure care is tailored the needs of each resident. Many of our staff are responsible for instilling our values of respect and dignity. Our person-centred approach is reflected across all aspects of life within the home.
Residents have a choice of nutritionally balanced meals three times a day, which along with our snack and night bite menus, offer residents a wide choice at a time that suits them.
We offer an array of stimulating activities every day that are tailored to the interests and abilities of the people we support. Each activity is designed to enhance life skills and give a feeling of purpose and self-worth, encouraging residents to choose whether to continue with existing hobbies or try something new

The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it is important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Caring for others has been my passion since childhood, growing up in a nursing family. With over 30 years of experience in the adult care sector, I am dedicated to providing outstanding, person-centred care to ensure every resident feels at home, settled, and safe.
I am committed to leading my team with the highest standards of care and compassion. I share my knowledge and expectations with them to ensure we deliver exceptional service to our residents.
Supporting, reassuring, and communicating with residents and their loved ones is my top priority. I am privileged to be part of their journey, ensuring a smooth and comfortable transition into our beautiful home.
