The Warren is a purpose-built residential care home providing high quality care for older people. Our highly skilled and attentive staff work hard to provide person-centred care in a warm and friendly environment. Alongside long-term care, our services are also available on a respite and short-term basis, which can be pre-booked up to a year in advance.
Our high standards are reflected throughout the home within both our hospitality and food services. Our activities coordinators also work hard to provide a varied range of activities and entertainment tailored to the interests and needs of residents. We have small, but well-maintained gardens for everyone to enjoy, which include our wonderful greenhouse and raised flower and vegetable beds.
The Warren is conveniently situated to take advantage of the stunning Norfolk broads and English coastline, as well as the liveliness of Norwich city centre. We welcome visitors at any time, so feel free to drop in and experience what we have to offer for yourself.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I am the General Manager here at The Warren. Welcome to our website!
I have a background in nursing in my home country and I have completed my level 5 diploma in leadership and management in health and social care in England. In my 16 years of working in healthcare, I have learnt to lead by example and ensure every resident is treat as the unique individual that they are.
I love working for Barchester and leading the team at The Warren in the care and support of residents to provide first class service that meets their individual needs. We have a truly lovely home and a fantastic team.
My vision is to create a 'home from home' environment, where residents are actively involved in organising events, making decisions, and planning their care.
Our door is always open to visitors who want to experience our family-friendly atmosphere and I am always ready to speak to anyone who is starting to explore their future care needs
