Cherry Trees Care Home in Alcester
Cherry Trees is a purpose-built nursing home that provides 24-hour residential care and nursing care for frail older people, and people living with dementia. The home is ideally situated on the outskirts of Stratford-Upon-Avon in the historic market town of Alcester, and has excellent transport links. Our dedicated and experienced team is passionate about providing quality care affords the best possible alternative to those who are no longer able to manage at home.
Dementia Care
Cherry Trees has a dedicated Memory Lane Community that provides a safe, homely environment for people living with dementia, which has been designed following these guidelines ensuring the care we provide supports residents’ freedom of choice. We aim to maintain their life-skills, improving their self-esteem and helping them to maintain and develop their independence while they are living with us.
Staff undertake specialist dementia care training developed by our team of Dementia Care Specialists and academic partners, the Centre for Dementia Research at Leeds Beckett University. Together they ensure our training programmes are informed by the very latest thinking. We ensure that the people we support feel comfortable and safe in their surrounding environment, helping ensure they live life with dementia to the full.
Choosing a care home for a loved one or friend who may be experiencing dementia can be difficult and we have created a guide to showcase how we ‘Enrich the lives of people living with dementia’ in our care home.

We have launched a brand new residential community! Name Cherry Blossom, this 9-bed community has been beautifully refurbished with premium, restaurant-style dining area, comfortable lounges and en-suite bedrooms.

Types of care
We provide person-centred nursing care services for older people in need of support or for individuals living with dementia. It is important to us that our care services are delivered in a way that celebrates each person’s individuality and helps them to maintain as much independence as possible, so we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each person. This could include personal one-to-one time with staff members when needed, regular visits from a chiropodist or just adhering to special dietary requirements.

Debbie Osborne
Hi, my name is Debbie and I am the General Manager here at Cherry Trees. Welcome to our website!
I originally joined Cherry Trees as the Head of Care, after a career in teaching and caring for children. My passion is ensuring our resident's specific care and nursing needs are met and are the core of the wonderful work the team does here at Cherry Trees.
Staff training and development is of the utmost importance to me, as a qualified trainer for Barchester Healthcare I ensure that our team are up-to-date with the latest research, policies and best practice, so that I we can enhance the quality of life and care delivered throughout the home.
I am committed to the delivery of person-centered care and focus on what residents can do, not what they can't. I promote independence and well-being and consider working in this sector to be a privilege, not a job.
I am dedicated to ensuring the delivery of high quality care by my team and endeavour to create happiness amongst residents at Cherry Trees.
