Pinetree Care Home in Rayleigh
Pinetree Care Home, a brand new purpose-built care home in Rayleigh is now open! Our care team offers excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. Alongside long-term care, we also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. Our experienced and dedicated team are ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focusses on the individual needs of each resident.
For those living with dementia, there is a dedicated area called Memory Lane which offers high quality care and thoughtful touches to help make life easier. For example, features include a Rainbow Table – this is an interactive touch screen that creates an immersive interactive experience for residents. It's a specialist piece of technology designed to support residents living with dementia. Additionally, our interior space, colours and bedrooms are all designed to help with difficulties associated with dementia.
We run a busy activities programme so that our residents can get the most out of every day, including visits from entertainers, pantos, and choirs. Residents at Pinetree have a choice of television lounges and quiet rooms, all perfect places to welcome friends and relatives.
We always ask residents and their families about their food preferences and dietary requirements. Our chef and catering team work with dieticians to create meals that are nutritious and tasty, using fresh seasonal ingredients. To add more variety, we also make a point of celebrating with special meals and events throughout the year. Residents can eat in our pleasant dining rooms or, if they prefer, we’re pleased to serve them their meal in the privacy of their own rooms.
As well as providing excellent professional care, our entire team is dedicated to fostering a sense of home and of belonging. That means taking plenty of time to understand individual residents, their likes and dislikes, and exploring all the ways we can make them happy and comfortable. It’s all about giving our residents and their loved ones the confidence that we’re providing the very best of care, and delivering special resident experiences every day.

Our 'Paying to live in a care home' guide is designed to try and help you understand more about the funding options available and what to consider when choosing a care home.

Types of care
The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it is important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Our services are devised with individualised treatment in mind for each person, so getting to know everyone and understanding their needs is imperative to delivering bespoke, person-centred care
