Welcome to our website. My name is Sharon Herbert, and I am the Senior General manager for Barchester based at Plas y Dderwen.
I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1994 and joined Barchester in 2015, firstly working at Plas Y Dderwen before supporting other regions for 4 years, helping to improve quality and resident experience.
I returned to Plas Y Dderwen in July 2022, whereby as a team we are passionate about the residents that we support and the experience they have whilst in our care. I am committed to a high standard of service delivery, ensuring that the staff also meet the requirements in terms of training and adhering to the Barchester Values of respect, integrity, passion, empowerment and responsibility.
